Practical workshop with ENSAIA students using our Proxima software suite

This week concludes an enriching series of practical sessions with ENSAIA students, focusing on a project using our Proxima software suite.

The project involved designing and evaluating a manufacturing process for cultured meat using bovine satellite cells.

 

 

The students had the opportunity to:

• Describe the flowsheet in Proxima: design the entire production process and establish mass balances.
• Conduct a technoeconomic analysis: evaluate the economic viability and environmental impact of the process.
• Propose and validate process improvements: identify potential enhancements and confirm their effectiveness within Proxima.
